Calliope is a portable paper-based platform for interactive story making that allows physical editing of shared digital media at a distance. The system is composed of a network of creation stations that seamlessly blend analog and digital media, documenting the creative process with no need to interact directly with a computer.

The system enables the use of any object to be used as material for creation, offering opportunities of collaboration to peers who's expertise might not be in the same medium.

Calliope is programmed in openFrameworks and uses Microvision’s Pico Projector.
